

The Juno Beach Pier offers guests 990-feet of great saltwater fishing and wonderful opportunities to enjoy the scenic view. Freshwater fishing is also available in several of the ponds and lakes, mainly in the eastern and southeastern areas of the park.

Be sure you have the appropriate license for the area and species you are fishing. There can be soe overlap of species- it is possible to catch snook and snapper far upriver near Trapper’s, and largemouth bass as far down as the mouth of Kitching Creek. Fishing in the Loxahatchee River varies from freshwater fishing in the upper river to saltwater angling as you approach the picnic area and boat ramp. A newly rebuilt boat ramp is available for a small fee on the Loxahatchee River, which eventually leads to the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean. This park offers many activities and opportunities for outdoor adventure! Hike, bike, fish, ride horses, canoe, kayak, camp, bird watch, visit the nature center, or go on a river tour. Paddle around until you see larger fish eating bait, then cast a mullet and you may be lucky enough to reel in a 20-35 pound jack crevalle or even a snook, which is plenty of fun from a kayak. The best thing to do is bring a cast net, rent a kayak, and keep a couple of mullet in a bucket. Fishing is allowed in designated areas of the park with a proper fishing license. Park visitors can participate in a variety of recreational activities, including kayaking, beach fishing, bird-watching, and snorkeling. The park is open from 8am until sundown 365 days a year. The park is located in northern Palm Beach County at the North end of Singer Island. Surf fishing can be great here for jacks, Spanish mackerel, bluefish, and snook. Most surf-fisherman use 12-15-foot rods paired with large saltwater spinning reels and 20-25-pound test line. No parking is available here, so you may have to park somewhere and hike to the fishing area. Saltwater fishing is permitted at this beach near the south of the park in unguarded areas, and accessed using dune crossovers. Burt Reynolds Park is also home to the River Center and the Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce. Amenities at this park are plentiful on the east side with horseshoe pits, picnic areas with grills, shelters/pavilions, playground, restrooms, sand volleyball court and a kayak/paddleboard launching area. The west side is more for the larger boats as the east side ramps require you to clear the US1 bridge in either direction.

There are two areas where you can drop your boat in at this park. Conveniently located just south of Jupiter inlet, Burt Reynolds Park boat ramps are open 24/7 (west side only) and only a few short idle minutes away from the inlet.

This park has recently undergone $2.5 million in improvements and includes two docks and two boat launch ramps, as well as kayak/paddleboarding access, picnic areas, playgrounds, baseball fields, and tennis courts. Saltwater fishing is permitted at this beach, and most surf-fisherman use 12-15 foot rods paired with large saltwater spinning reels and 20-25 pound test line. This expansive beachside park includes Lazy Loggerhead Café, Seabreeze Amphitheatre, picnic areas, an exercise course, bocce courts, softball fields, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, picnic areas, and playgrounds. Thankfully, there are many great onshore fishing spots in Palm Beach County. Onshore fishing is a fun activity that doesn’t involve all the work putting a boat in the water.
